This beautiful place suits a beauty queen. Radisson Plaza Beach Resort - Mauritius is a luxurious five star deluxe resort located on the sheltered bay of Pointe aux Piments on the north-west coast of Mauritius, with a beach of white sand and turquoise blue water. It is approx. 60kms from the international airport and approx. 15kms from Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius where the centre of business, entertainment and shopping is located.

More shows means that the viewers have more opportunity to get to know the contestants. It also means that the contestants get more time to have their say. Starting on 10 November, M-Net will air weekly one-hour shows featuring the contestants in various settings. The broadcasts will culminate in a two-hour spectacular on 8th December.

The fashion and style of the production will appeal to a more diverse audience, including the young and sexy. Directed by 31 year-old Gavin Wratten, responsible for Face of Africa 2001, Idols top 10 live spectaculars, Idols concert and Bravo China South Africa, the all-new Miss South Africa 2002 pageant will see a very real, sexy, street-smart winner, who is representative of today's South Africa.
