Miss South Africa 2002 can be seen on the net from 1st October. The pageant will culminate in a grand finale, broadcast exclusively on M-Net, live from exotic Sun City on 8th December.

Viewers will get to see the Miss South Africa hopefuls as never before. Get to know her and experience her glamourous days as well as those when she is not expecting company.

Cameras will follow the every move of three soon-to-be-appointed celebrity judges through the ten- day casting process watching them make their selections and capturing their honest candid opinions.

Commented Phillip Georgas, Divisional Director Resorts, Sun International, "Sun International is delighted to host this prestigious pageant at Sun City once again. Miss South Africa presents a great opportunity for all young South African girls to participate in the contest and to be a role model and ambassador for their country."

The format and style of the pageant will allow audiences to really get to know who their new Miss South Africa is and what she is about. There are more television productions, five in all, as well as profile broadcasts of the finalists. The finale will feature less finalists - 12 as opposed to the 16 in previous years.
